WoodKa plates are made from Areca Sheaths. Fallen areca sheaths on the ground are gathered; scrubbed, and washed with fresh water to eliminate dust and dirt. Then the leaves are pressed into desired size and shape using a hydraulic press. The plates are sterilized and packed.

2. Are there any added chemicals to the process or coating done during the process of manufacturing of the products?

Our products are made of No Chemicals Additives or any artificial coating and are completely non-toxic. Only water & leaves are used for the manufacturing process.

3. Is raw material acquired by cutting trees?

No, Naturally fallen dry leaves were only used for the process of manufacturing these products which otherwise goes waste. The Raw material used is completely sustainable and eco-friendly.

4. Why is there a change in colour, thickness and texture in products from one another?

Our products are made of 100% natural materials, so the color, thickness and texture of products varies from each other

Yes, Areca plates can be used for refrigeration as they won’t react with the food during refrigeration.
